Garbage, recycling, and organics collection services are required for all occupied residential and commercial properties in Alameda County. These services help protect public health and ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
Self-Haul Authorization
If you choose to self-haul your waste instead of subscribing to collection service, you must first obtain approval from the Alameda County "Certify with Alameda County Waste Program" as a Self-Hauler.
