PGS Special Holiday Tree Pickup Monday, January 5th- Friday, January 9th.
- Place tree(s) at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on your regular service day.
- Clean trees only (no decorations and no flocked or plastic trees).
- Please cut trees down to 4-feet or less in height.
- Please remove bases or stands.
Recycle Holiday Trees in the Organics Cart
- Tree branches and stumps can be a max of 2 feet sections.
- Lid needs to securely close.
- Clean trees only (no decorations and no flocked or plastic trees).
Pleasanton residents may also bring Holiday trees to the Transfer station at 3110 Busch Rd. free of charge until January 31st, 2026.
Non-Recyclable Flocked Trees or Trees with Tinsel
- PGS can pick up your non-recyclable holiday tree.
- Please call (925) 846-2042 to arrange for the disposal of your flocked or tinseled tree.
- An additional fee may apply unless you use one of the three (3) Bulky Item Pick-ups available to you per year at no cost.
Boy Scout Tree Recycling Fundraiser Starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026.
The funds will help the Scouts pay for camp, equipment, and outdoor activities to learn first aid, CPR, leadership, and other life skills.
Visit www.Troop941.Org to register for your tree pickup. Registration begins on December 1st.
